We are a friendly active and growing club owned by our membership. We were formed after the demolition of our old site in East Grinstead and moved to our brand new squash courts at East Grinstead Sports Club in September 2012.
At the club you will find a very welcoming and supportive group of players. Come along and join us. We welcome players of all abilities and offer coaching, team play and an internal league structure for squash and racketball, as well as friendly ‘Round-Robin’ games. We have a very active junior membership as well as many female players.
We have our own qualified coaches and junior squads. As well as Squash we play the very popular game of Racketball. If you don’t know, the game is played on the squash court but with a much more bouncy ball. The rackets are more like stubby tennis rackets than the much smaller ones used for Squash. Because of the bounce of the ball it is a less intense game than Squash. This makes it easier for players with less experience to have a good game, while experienced players can turn it into a fierce competition.
